How to use the martingale collar
A martingale collar is a type of wide collar that is different from a regular collar because it is worn over the head.
Because it is a half-choke type, the collar tightens when the dog pulls, and the tightening is relaxed when the dog stops pulling.
This collar is especially popular for hunting and training dogs with elongated heads. (Also available for other dog breeds)
Because it is designed to be worn over the head, it is also recommended for delicate dogs who don't like the clicking sound of the collar.
If it's your first time, it may feel a little difficult, so I'll explain how to actually wear it using photos.
How to use a MARTINGALE COLLAR
① First, open the martingale collar until it is large enough to pass through the dog's head.
*Please be careful not to mistake the place where you put your neck in with the ring part that adjusts the size. In that case, tightening cannot be performed well.
Please wear it over your head.
When choosing a size, we recommend that you allow a margin of +2-3cm around the dog's head.
(2) Make fine adjustments with the adjuster so that it is neither too tight nor too loose.
(3) Check if it is worn correctly.
Ideally, when you pull the short strap, the distance between the left and right rings should be about 3 finger widths.
Photo 4 on the left is the correct position for the martingale collar.
If the size adjustment of the martingale collar is large, the two rings will come into contact as shown in photo 5 .
Photo 5 on the right is an example of incorrect wear.
This is a martingale collar that is too big and may fall out of your head, so adjust it to the appropriate size.
Please wear the martingale collar correctly and use it for a safe and enjoyable walk.
If you can't find the right size, we can customize it with just the right size for each customer's dog.
